| I just got back yesterday. What a wonderful place, Cat Island that
is. I plan on posting a detailed description of the 3 places to
stay. In a nutshell, I was disappointed with Cutlass Bay and
honestly was thankful they didn't allow singles. Fernandez Bay
Village was terrific. I had no problem going either to the north
end of the beach or walking 5 or so minutes to 2 more beaches that
nobody else used all day. There is another place on the southwest
corner, Greenwood Inn, being managed by a couple from Iowa, owned
by some German man. Honestly, the beaches are so wide-open that
nudity is no problem. I had no "indcidents" at all. As long as
you keep it fairly discreet, no problem and there is plenty of space.
I was disappointed with Robbie, the manager of Cutlass Bay, not sure
how to describe it, just a wierd, uncomfortable feeling. Cutlass
Bay is all-inclusive, rather expensive and of the 3 resorts, their
beach is by far the least attractive. I will certainly go back and
plan to send a site report to the Naturist Society as I talked to
all the managers about nudity on the beach. Great place and for
the time being, I have a wonderful all-over tan.
Sue, if you want, send me mail with your DTN as it will probably take
a few days before I can get all the info typed up. I also have some
literature on Cutlass Bay, Greenwood Inn, and Fernandez Bay. I really
don't see how you could go wrong with Fernandez Bay. I have absolutely
nothing negative to say about the place, people, food, rooms, etc.
