I'm working with a third party who are trying to test their product on Digital UNIX V4.0A with Informix V7.2. The following is a very simple query which with the right documentation is probably solvable in a few seconds - unfortunately I don't appear to have that documentation though :-( The customer has installed the Informix software from the two CD's they have in their kit (Product Online DS and ESQL/C). They were expecting to have COBOL support installed, but this appears to be missing - can anyone help? Should it be there or are they missing something? Thanks for any help or pointers, Helen.

Helen, The product you need is : INFORMIX-ESQL/COBOL (for cobol compiler) and not ESQL/C (for C compiler) regards Claude [Posted by WWW Notes gateway] | |||||

Claude Thanks for the quick response. I thought it was a little strange that nothing was actually labeled ESQL/COBOL! Regards, Helen [Posted by WWW Notes gateway] |
