Saturday, a friend of my neigbor's son came over to
pick him up. When my neighbor's son, Chris, opened
his friend's car door, out shot a cat! The cat took
off around the house and into the woods. The cat's
name was Augie, and he belonged to the friend.....
I found out about the missing cat later that night.
(Guess who was out at 11:30pm with a flashlight? (: )
We searched, but didn't have any luck in finding the
    poor, frightened cat...
Yesterday morning I spotted a strange cat sitting on
their lawn, and called them to let them know....but,
it was not the right cat....):
This morning, there was a note on my car from my neighbor....

        "I found the cat"

    	                The little cat finder, me

    Made my morning! (:

A word in the ear of the neighbor's friend about having cats in
carrying cases when traveling by car seems in order.

    Umm.....

The cat wasn't in the car on purpose! (: He had climbed in
through the open window, and went to sleep in the back seat!
The owner didn't know he was in there!

This sounds familiar! Benjamin decided to nap in my neighbor's van
years ago. She then started to drive to work and about 3 miles away,
Ben woke up and made himself known. She told me any other cat she
would have just let out the door, but she turned around, came home, and
dropped Ben off. She was late for work, but I think it was worth it.

Also, a woman I work with had a furniture delivery a few years ago and
her cat decided to hop into the truck and go for a ride. They called
the furniture store to find out where the truck had deliveries that day
and ended up finding Tipsy in Brighton!
