| John! I saw that red tabby yesterday with the human family! How funny
you posted that today. I slowed to get a good look because the cat was
so beautiful, and appeared to be waiting for the bus, too! I happened
to go to MSO for a meeting yesterday and saw the red one. Didn't see
the grey, though. Funny, I worked at MSO for a couple of years and
never noticed them before. I moved to HLO last month, and now I
notice!

| The Grey's location is about 2 blocks closer to MSO on the same side
of the street... When I first saw the Grey, I remarked to my wife that
night how well behaved and calm he/she was, as my 3 would have been
spazzo-panic city if I ever took them out into a situation like this...
This cat seemed better trained and well-behaved than the average kid
is...
Then I see the Red & White...in the same vicinity....and this
prompted the basenote... 2 little "angel" cats within a quarter mile of
each other?? Pretty unlikely situation...but facts...

What a cute note, thanks for sharing. Yes, cats do like to greet their
loved ones. I am not surprised to hear that these cats were waiting
for 'their children' to return home. Both my cats come out of hiding,
wherever they are, out or in, as soon as I come home. My Siamese, of
course, is all talk and full of scolding for being away so long. She
also hates it when I leave in the morning and puts up quite a fuss.
My other cat thinks that he is a hood ornament for my car. When I
arrive home, if he is outside he jumps up on the hood of my car to
greet me. Whenever I leave, if he is outside, he will jump on the hood
of my car, and will not jump off even if the car starts to move. I am
sure that he would be content to go along for a ride if I let him.
Eleanor
p.s. I do not let my cats stay out all day. They are in-and-outers.
Sometimes I call my Siamese, In-Again-Out-Again-Finnegan.
