    Marilyn, I also agree with what you said.  All my life I've been close
    to male friends and suddenly, I find myself sharing good and bad times
    with lot's of wonderful women, all that I met through here.  Some I've
    never even met face to face but that does not matter.  This certainly
    is a special place indeed!  :^)

those of us who have to leave this place take with us the powerful knowlege
of all the friends we have made in this place...whether I know your face
or not, I will know you are my friend, should we ever meet anywhere...I
know you are there, steady and true, at my back helping me get through
and triumph when adversity strikes.  I know that in this place I have
value...that makes me the richest of people and gives me a confident
stride across this planet.  I thank you for this...and I will always
treasure your words and spirit whereever I travel.  I can only hope
that I have given a small bit of it back to each of you.

    Rest easy, Marilyn.  I'm not going to move this note.  I think
    what you said here was really wonderful.
    
    I have also made many friends through this file.  Some I've never
    met (and may never meet) in person.  I find the support and 
    information in this file to be of great value.  I can't think of
    any other place (besides my sister Jo's house) where I can find
    people who understand how deeply I feel about feline-type furfaces.

    I agree with you all!!!  I realized how much I missed the notes file
    during my absence and can realize only what people who are leaving can
    try to think about.  I am glad to belong again! 8'}

    I am so grateful for all the support and understanding present in this
    file; I only hope that I can repay some of it or at least pass it on
    whenever I can.  I have met a few of you face-to-face, and many of you
    I have not met, but I consider you all my friends - friends who truely
    understand my desire to have small fur-covered people in my life;
    friends who understand the value of unconditional love for all life
    (well, I know it's hard to forgive the cruel ones who don't understand
    this).
    
    It's really too bad that more people don't share this kind of support
    and understanding throughout all the areas of their lives.

    I have tried several times to respond to this note, but I keep getting
    too emotional, and have to stop. My boss's office looks directly into
    mine, and he already thinks I'm loony toons without sitting at my desk
    crying! ;-)
    
    I'll try again. I think this note is wonderful. I have never felt so
    close to people I've never even met! Especially women! I, like Cheryl
    have always found it easier to associate with men than women, and now I
    have more women that I consider "friends" all at one time, than I have
    had in my entire life all put together! I call that pretty special!
    
    This file has literally changed my life. I can't explain it, but I know
    I look at things differently than I did before I started reading this
    file. 
    
    I have learned volumes from this file, and have laughed and cried right
    along with everyone else in here. I want to thank everyone in here for
    all the love and support given to all in this file!

I would like to thank for moderators for endeavouring to
find a new node for FELINE. This note is a consistent
source of positive energy because the topic has to do
with *caring*, and FELINE has consistently buoyed my
spirits during the ongoing carnage of downsizing (my
group was decimated). Having Mary get it after her trials
with Blue was the absolute limit!
