207.0. "Thank you Windham Animal Hospital" by EMDS::CHAMBERLAIN () Wed Feb 26 1992 12:05

I just wanted to put a good word in for the Windham Animal Hospital in
    Windham New Hampshire.

I have been working will all three doctors for over 6 months now
    and they have terrific!

Fluffy had a urinary track block back in September (during
Hurricane Bob it was discovered) and in the Midst of the
hurricane the Dr. Butterfield met me there and admitted Fluffy
immediately. Had I waited I may have lost Fluffy.

Fluffy went through about 8 weeks of in and out procedures
because he kept blocking. Along with this was a small
    fortune in bills for me.

After the two months, it seemed that Fluffy would have
to become Fluffy-Anna. The Doctors understood my financial
situations and applied my previous investment towards the
costs of the operation (grand total of around $900 and change).

Fluffy has been doing fine except for an infection due to
the new openess of his private part.

The doctors have ALL been great, Dr. Hollis, Dr. Corliss and
Dr. Butterfield. The staff were also super when I called
twice a day to see how Fluff was doing.

So if you live in the Derry/Salem/Windham area, they are
    well worth the visit!

I second the motion. All four of my critters have gone there ever
since I moved to Derry. Actually, I should say five:one kitten I adopted
didn't make it through the night. Even then they were very helpful and
comforting.

As an aside, Dr. Butterfield is in love with Maine Coons. I'm pretty
sure that Basia (my current MC) is his favorite patient...And he's the
only vet she'll put up with!
