I am NOT an ACMSXP expert, can somebody help me please ?
This concerns some questions about ACMSXP running on Digital UNIX.
1. What is the maximum number of "taskgroups" that one single TP system
supports ? At the moment we are thinking about creating an application
with maximal 50 different "taskgroups". Do you expect any problems with
this ?
2. What is the maximum length of a "taskgroup" name ? As far as I can
remember, ENCINA had problems with long names. Does a long "taskgroup"
name has infuence on the performance ?
3. What is the use of the attribute "Local AP-Title". Can we give this
attribute a certain value and what is the maximum length of this
attribute ?

Do you expect any problems with this ? 50 different task groups implies 50 different task servers which should work. I'll check and see if limit exists on the number of task servers per tpsystem I'm not aware of one. I do have a few questions for you. How many tasks per task group? Do you intend to have task call task within different task groups? Will all of task servers be part of the same tpsystem or multiple tpsystems? What is the criteria you are using to break the tasks up into different task groups? 2. What is the maximum length of a "taskgroup" name ? As far as I can remember, ENCINA had problems with long names. Does a long "taskgroup" name has infuence on the performance ? The maximum length is 32 characters. The length of the name will not affect performance. 3. What is the use of the attribute "Local AP-Title". Can we give this attribute a certain value and what is the maximum length of this attribute ?
