708.0. "acb$uaf.dat corruption" by HANAXP::HANOCH (Who ? Me Worried ?) Tue May 06 1997 13:11

Dear All,

A major critical customer is using ACB 2.2 on its AXP system.

The customer had run into the following problem:

Every now and then, the ACB does not recognize any user. When connection the system,
after entering user name the ACB prompt for Phone Number.
The only way to solve the problem is to restore the acb$uaf.dat file from backup.
Since this is a frequent problem, the customer does not exept this solution.

As I mentioned, it is a big, important cutomer.

Help, Someone?

Regards,
Hanoch Ben-David
