How do you do it ? It's been rammed down the nation's throats for the
last few weeks and no, it doesn't sound any better the more you hear
    it...

    a quick summary :- 90's replacement for Journey-Speed-Foreigner with a
dash of Bryan Adams, but with female vocals and less guitar solos.

Ah those well known ska/reggae bands ;-) Or are you just referring to
the single, which is mostly unlike the other tunes on the album.

Yes, the single is all I've heard by them, very MOR I thought, almost a
Radio 2/Terry Wogan sort of tune....

There will be a few shocked listeners when they hear the more normal No

    without trace.

No, it isn't the comic relief single which is bad enough, it is some
garbage about their mum's. Very appropriate that it went to No 1 on
    mothers day, eh!

They were particularly crap on Clive James last night.

"/summat else" is 'Who Do You Think You Are' the song they played at
the Brits. Their appearance at number one for the fourth time marks the
first time a band has got to number one with it's first four singles,
breaking the record of Jive Bunny, Gerry and the Pacemakers, and Robson
    and 'Hit-in-the-face-with-a-spade-bloke'

I was flicking between that and BBC1 (I think ?) for the program on

Given the number of closets (of the musical kind) which some members of
this conference are into, I don't think you've got a prayer of getting
    any admissions.

I thought that their first single was quite good pop fun, but the stuff
I've heard since hasn't been much good. This 'mama' song is atrocious
    rubbish.

...and I wish they would lose all this stuff about 'girl power' -
clever marketing power maybe. They are about as empowering as a breeze
    block.

Just found out that (allegedly) Baby Spice (Emma) auditioned for the
part of Bianca Jackson in EastEnders but was told by producers that she

What, compared to the tart currently playing Bianca? I mean, I know
Baby Spice isn't exactly an interstellar sex godess, but no way is she
as dog-like as the actress playing Bianca.

It was released late last year if I remember, and went nowhere
fast. So they "remixed" it (added a few more beats here and there,
although I cannot personally hear the difference), and re-released
it a few weeks back. Hey presto! Number 1 this time.

I think they have an album out called "Extra Virgin", and thats all
	I know.

Trevor, who is off to see Beck in Glasgow tonight.
