Definitely think that this conference has lost something without the
incisive cynicism of the likes of Piers and Green Bee... :(

Well I might not get the chance after my exit interview tomorrow, so
I'd like to say so long and thanks for all the fish. This is the
only conference I've read with any regularity, and it's made welcome
relief from what I was actually supposed to be doing.

Thanks for putting up with my random drooling; I don't claim to have
ever said anything very sensible or useful, so it's nice to know
there are others out there as useless as me :-)

Shame I'm in Livingsgrad, one of Digital's more remote outposts. It
would have been good to meet up for a pint with some folks.

Cheers,

Guy

p.s. I'm off to work in the plush confines of my front room as an applications
programmer, yech!

p.p.s. bootleg tapes of the exit interview should be available from around
11 am.

Good luck, and goodbye. All the best in your fresher, greener pastures...

Best of luck, Guy. Notes is a small sacrifice to get out of Digital!

Right, I'm off! It's been fun, I've enjoyed conversing with you lot. I'd do
a `thanks especially to' thing, but I'd undoubtedly forget someone, so cheers
to everyone! If anyone can bear to keep in touch with a Hawkwind and Toyah
fan, I'm at cbh@fsl.com

Cheers, groovers,

Chris.

cheers Graham, I look forward to it! On your second question, I suspect that
Guy is still around (although my mail to him ages ago bounced, but I think
that was due to a problem at my end)

Chris.

PS I know I was supposed to have gone by now, but my network link is still up
and running for no apparent reason...

    Well kids...

I'm off to work in pastures new. I'll be spreading my words of wisdom
for another 3 weeks (oh, and I'll probably talk about the Spice Girls
too). It's been a laugh noting in here and sharing my sad (i.e Marmite
Mike Oldfield) record collection with you.

Where are you off to? Anywhere exciting? How will we get news of
    Marmite Man now?

I'm off to work at a company that 'does' BACS to work as a Technical
Support Engineer, which is a bit different from my current admin role.
I fear I will no longer be able to 'share' Marmite Man news so here is
a quick snippet that you wont find on the Web page...Mike was done for
drink-driving/speeding/causing an accident in his now knackered Merc on
Ibiza, he was so drunk that he could hardly walk commented one of the
    policemen (alledgedly)
