    This sounds excellent doesn't it.

    All yo have to do is commit yourself to buying seven hundred and fifty
    two thousand albums over the next four hundred years, from the list
    (mainly Barbara Streisand and Barry Manilow) at four hundred per cent
    of the M R P.

    Apart from that,   it's great.

    Nigel

1032.2Damn, never noticed the catch!KERNEL::LOUGHLINICarpe DiemTue Jun 09 1992 17:229
    Nigel, I'll send you a brochure.

    Would you then do me the courtesy of posting here some accurate
    details? Our local school has just bought a new minibus with the
    proceeds from this opportunity which they regard as an excellent
    fund-raising activity.

1032.3Modern Capitalism in schools - DisgustingPEKING::BARKERNDries in minutesTue Jun 09 1992 17:349
    If they bought the records in Our Price or somewhere else then they
    would have been able to buy the entire Ford Minibus Plant at Dagenham
    with the money that they would have saved.

    Nigel  -  the born cynic.

    P.S. Anyone want to buy a burgular alarm - (it's dead good)
1032.4Networking don't work!!!PEKING::BARKERNDries in minutesTue Jun 09 1992 17:387
    By the way, this substantial cash earning. It is I assume some form of
    network marketing.

    All sounds a little bit dodgy to me.

    Nigel.
1032.5NEWOA::DALLISONTime out, this is the real worldTue Jun 09 1992 19:349

    Moderators,

    I have already banned this note from the Musicians_Uk conference as it
    seems to be advertising external companies for the purpose of profit,
    which is, as we all know, against Digitals Policies and Procedures.

    FYI,

    Yo. Tony - Go for it, You and me against the uprising of
    capitalist oppression.

    I have hidden .0, and set this discussion /NOWRITE. It doesn't seem
    appropriate to me either.

1032.8Can't hear the MusicKERNEL::LOUGHLINICarpe DiemThu Jun 11 1992 14:566
    Thanks for pointing out the P&P rules, never even gave it a thought
    before I posted .0.

    Glad to see that socialism rules OK - I wonder if this attitude is related
    to today's DEC stock price...
