    One of my favourites is a bit obscure. From the Big Science album by
    Laurie Anderson, and the tracks are;

       		Just Like a Woman
   into		Let X=X

    another one is (blush), I don't listen to it anymore but I used to, I
    mean, I know someone who thinks this is a good link,

    	Carpenters;

    		Rainy Days and Mondays
    	into	Goodbye to Love.

    	<sorry>

    I'm not sure of the terminolgy, but the LINKS I'm thinking about are
    when two tracks, usually album tracks are joined in a good way.

    Another one I've just thought of,

    	the intro to Another brick in the Wall on the Pink Floyd 'The Wall'
    album. can't remember the preceding track name. Happiest Days of their
    lives?

    Is'nt "The Wall" linked all the way through? I like the link/intro
    to "Comfortably Numb" on that album. There's the chap shouting
    "Time to go!" and the sound of someone knocking on the door.
    Dougie, admit it, you just wanted an excuse to start a note on
    70's progressive rock did'nt you?  8^)

    yeah - bring back the 70's!

    'Concept' albums like The Wall and Misplaced Childhood are by
    definition linked all the way through. Whether these links are any good
    is another matter.

I like the link between "Love Under Will" and "Last Exit For The Lost" by
Fields of the Nephilim on the LP "The Nephilim"... chanting monks, and a woman
crying I think (don't know the film) as the sombre chords of "Last Exit.." start.

When they played live in the early days they also used to play Ennio Morricone's
"Harmonica Man" intro hold the last note really long and then start the twangly
guitar intro for "Preacher Man" from the same note! Sounded really good!

I'll try and think of some more...

BTW - Dougie, what're you doing in here? get back to mod'ing you-know-what!
