Pretty In Pink was John Hughes' finest film and the best of the brat
pack genre in my opinion, great soundtrack as well New Order, Smiths,
    Psychadelic Furs, Bunnymen etc.

Re Lick The Tins, you'll probably have to order anything you want, go
to one of the bigger record shops, they have these big red books which
tell you what is and isn't still available.

If Lick the Tins did the end song of that film last night, Some Kind
of Wonderful (or whatever it was called), then Propaganda definitely
did the beginning tune, Dr Mabuse. The credits of the film said score
by Stephen Hague. Isn't he that sooper producer/engineer/mixer who
has worked with Propaganda, OMD, PSBs etc? Correct me if I'm wrong!

In the HMV shop in Reading, upstairs on the classical counter, is a big
book which you can leaf through, which lists albums, and track listing,
so that you can order them.

    Stephen Hague - yes.

PS - I don't think the plot worked at all, although it had quite a few
laughs. As they say on the Movies notes conference - 3.721 out of
    5.649.
