824.0. "News on IT BITES & IQ" by HAM03::BRUEHL (TALK TO ME) Mon Apr 08 1991 19:44

Hello Noters,

I would like everybody who've heard news about It Bites and I.Q., to write
those into this topic. I would like to thank you all for that, as the German
Press doesn't write any word about those two fantastic bands.

I.Q. have split up and I think It Bites are working on new material.

    Jon,

thankyou for your reply. I've heard, that I.Q. are re-formed with the
original singer Pete Nichols. But I've also heard that the bass player
has had a accident and was dead. I don't know, who's going to play
    bass, now.

On It Bites: Yes, I know, that they are recording new songs. Have you
ever seen them live? If not, they're going to do a gig at the Marquee
in London, soon, to present their new line up. So watch out for this
date. And I think as you do, Eat Me... is really brilliant.

    Thanx again.

    I.Q. are re-formed! I didn't know that, I'll have to keep a watch a
for some new stuff. Don't know anything about the bass player though.

It Bites, have got any limited editions on any of their singles e.g.
7" picture disc and the 7" double pack of Calling all the Heroes?
Their supposidly very collectable items, worth a little bit!

The last reply was from JON, the one who replied before! I'm from the
    Leatherhead office, England.

It Bites paragraph should read 'have you got ...'

824.6Old Man & The AngelSED750::STRUTTMon Apr 15 1991 12:589
I've got a few, STYTR 3"CD Tri Sleeve & 7" Shp pic disc. I remember
some of the ltd eds. being in the cheap rack at my local store but I
didn't snap them up. As for Calling... I've seen the pic disc & dbl pck
at a record fair at about 8 to 13 pounds each.
I've got a lot of rare stuff e.g. '80 onwards.
Any more noters in to It Bites and I.Q.?

    Cheers

824.7At first, a Live AlbumHAM03::BRUEHLTALK TO MEMon Apr 15 1991 15:1615
    Jon,

if you'll be at a record fair, again, are you able to let me get a 7"
Calling All The Heroes Double Pack copy, as this is the last official
It Bites release, I'm still missing.
I know that 13 Pounds is quiet expensive. But for me it is worth to
    have. Are you able?

I've just heard, that It Bites will release their announced Live Album
on the 21st of May. But over in Japan. I don't know any dates about
Europe. A solo album of Fancis Dunnery will be released in July.

So some good news. Watch out for the Uk music press.

It just so happens the fair I saw them at is on this very Sunday.
It's the big Brighton one at the Conferance Centre. Are you able to
get there or are you asking me to get it for you? Also it was a little
while ago I saw these records so theres no gurantee. I don't mind but
I'd have to have the money pretty sharply and an address! So my number
is 7844 3215 then you'll need to ask for me. Anyway, as I said you may be
    going there yourself?

The Japanese live album will proberbly be avaliable on import in shops
like Our Price and HMV if not then you can order yourself. Sounds
    interesting this album.

Any more noters like the 'Bites & the Q's.

I think that I will be not able, to go to the fair, as I have to
travel all away from Germany. So I would like YOU, if you ever see
C.A.T.H. 7" Double Pack again, to buy it for me. I will let you get
a cheque among the money, you've spent for it.
The live album will also be released here in Europe, I think. So it
will, hopefully, be easy for me, to get this one too.
Please let me know, if you ever read anything on this album, in your
    local Music Press.

824.11Calling all the It Bites fansSED750::STRUTTTue Apr 16 1991 20:5918

I was trying to cover every angle of the conversation.
I've heard people travel miles e.g. from Britian to Japan just for a record
fair. These fairs last a few days and the hall their held in is big enough
for every team in the Bunders (sp) League to all play in at once. Anyway
these people proberly don't work for Digital, because on these wages you
    must be joking.

Brighton has 150 to 180 stalls in it and is attended by some of the top
dealers in the country. So if I see this infamous double pack I'll get it
    for you.

Do they have record fairs in Germany?

The live album is avaliable in Europe. A world-wide release. Good stuff.

824.12I'll Meet You In The SpringHAMIS3::BRUEHLTALK TO MEWed Apr 17 1991 12:3835

    Jon,

yes, we do have record fairs, here in Germany. But it is also very
difficult, to find It Bites stuff at those fairs, as the most of their
items were only released in the UK. And if you'll find any item, you
have had a lot of luck.

Yes, I know about people, who traveled a long, long way. I've been at
the It Bites Convention in 1989 at the Rock Garden, London. I've
thought, that I was the only one who was so joked, to get this long way.
But, there were also three girls all away from Japan and two guys from the
Netherlands. So I think, no way is far enough, to catch a view of It
    Bites.

I would like to thank you for your support, in getting me the Double
Pack, if you ever will see it again. Can I do anything for you?
I do have a few brilliant sounding It Bites Live Tapes. Are you
interesting in? If you have any special wish on It Bites, tell me, as
I have nearly everything, they've ever done. Don't be shy about that.

I hope, that the Live Album will contain tracks, which were not
    released as B'-Sides, so far.

Witch It Bites Album do you like the most?
The experimental Big Lad In The Windmill, The good rocking Once Around
The World or the heavier Eat Me In St Louis?

Have you ever met the Band? If not, let me tell you, they're really
    nice guys.

    So far...

    Jon,

I will have a look after 12" Telegraph by O.M.D.. But it will be
difficult to find. Anyway, I'll try.

I do not collect IQ releases as well as It Bites releases.
I only have: The Wake, Awake And Nervous, Nomzamo, Are You Sitting
Comfortably and a fifth CD which titel I can't remember at the Moment.
I do also have 12" Promises and Nomzamo as a special Double Pack album,
    containing a 12" Live EP.

The Music you find at German Record Fairs is nearly all Music you know
about. But Non Classic. Rock/Pop/Jazz, nearly everything. But most of
those Records or CD's are released in Germany. Imports are hard to
    find.

As you only know the Eat Me In St Louis album, try to get a listen of
Once Around The World. It's a great Album. I'm shure, you'll like it.

The It Bites Live CutS, I've got are all Bootlegs. But a few of those
are in a very good quallity. Recorded directly out of the Mixing Desc.
I have, for example: Once Around The World Tour 100Mins. Great Gig.
I also have cut's from The Big Lad In The Windmill Tour, Spring 90 Tour
and Eat Me In St Louis Tour. If you like, I let you know the detailed
list, so you can select, what you like.

Yes, I'm really a fanatic It Bites fan. My It Bites Collection is one
of the completest, around the world. I'm very proud, to have more than
80 different It Bites releases in my collection. And... three years ago
I only had: Once Around The World CD, The Big Lad In The Windmill CD
and 12" The Old Man And The Angel. So I've three years hard searching
after me. But I do like it to collect their items, a lot.
I have also Promos from the UK and the USA. I hope, to find anything
new in the future. The release of the Live Album will get me a chance
to get more of their stuff. I also do have a few limited editions with
    original Autographs. So that's it.

    |PETER|_barks_before_biting

    P.S.: Waht's about Bunders? I haven't understand that.

    Hi Peter

'Bunders' was a joke from a couple of notes ago, don't worry about it.
I expect you've got the German releases of every It Bites single, do
any of them come in limited edition format? By the way which section do
    you work in?

Do you have a large record collection e.g. stuff on loads of other
    artists?

    T.T.F.N.
    ^Jon^

P.S. What's number in Germany at the moment?

824.17Give the People what they wantHAM03::BRUEHLTALK TO METhu Apr 18 1991 17:5528

    Hi ^Jon^,

I don't know about any German Limited Editions on It Bites. Only the
Eat Me In St Louis Double CD Pack. Nothing else.
I have collected Genesis items for e few years (also Gabriel, Hackett,
Rutherford, Banks, Collins, Brand X, Mike & The Mechanics, Anthony
Philips, GTR, Bankstatement, and so on). I have more than 128 records
of those artists. Not counting my CD's of them. I also have collect
Marillion stuff, but stoped, as Fish has left the Band.

All in all my whole collection contains nearly 500 Albums, 280 CD'S 75
Music Videos and also a lot of tapes. You see, music is my live. And so
I'm playing Drums in a band. We do some covers, like: All In Red, Black
December, Screaming On The Beaches from It Bites, Sugar Mice, White
Russian from Marillion, Home Of The Brave from Toto and so on. Can't
    live without (good) music.

I do work as a Data Base Manager for SMART Application. Nice job, if
you're joked enough. By the way. I have Eat Me In St Louis Double CD
as an spare, containing a few extra bonus tracks.

I have to make it short, as I have a lot to do, today.
    So that's it, for now.

    |PETER|

    Jon,

so here I'm, again. I do have a little bit more time, yet.

As I've said, I do like to collect I.B. stuff, a lot. There're a few
items I'm missing. Most of those are Promos, and not availible in
record shops. But there's an other official release, that I'm missing:
"Still Too Young To Remember" 3"CD Single VIRGIN VSCD 1184.
This one hasn't a triangular sleeve. Do you think that you're able, to
get this item for me? I've never seen it, anywere. It seems, that this
item is more limited, than the triangular sleeved one. Anyway.
I will love it, if you're able to do me this favour.

So what can I do for you? I'll try to get the 12" Single, that you're
missing. Do you want it also, if it is a German release?
And do you want anything else?

    So that's it for now.

824.19Me and my Sister SarahSED750::STRUTTTue Apr 23 1991 12:0022
    Pete,

I wen't to the Brighton record fair I told you about and went to the
stall that had the Calling All The Heroes double pack and ..........
they'd sold it just a week before, one fair before this one. So sorry
about that. I did try some other stalls as well, a few had the picture
disk but no double pack, they laughed at me when I asked for it saying
'You should be so lucky', but it must be around somewhere! I'll keep my
eyes open. So if you could look out for the O.M.D 12" It's a U.K. release
    I'd appreciate it.

I've never seen the normal 3" C.D. of STYTR. It may be listed as a
release as told by Virgin but the C.D never actually left the factory,
I've heard of that before. Also, what you might be thinking of is a
collection of oldie 3" C.D's released last year, each containing four
tracks e.g. It Bites, Sex Pistols, O.M.D, Peter Gabrial that could be
    it.

    Cheers for now.
    ^Jon^

I would like to thank you very much, that have tried to get the Double
Pack. Unfortunately, you couldn't get it. Anyway. I would like to thank
you also, that you're going to try it again.

I will have a strange look after the 12" O.M.D. single.

I'm very impressed, that there're no more It Bites liker, out there.
They are really fantastic, so why are they not popular in the UK?
I've also tried to find some American Noters, who like It Bites.
I've got only two replies in the It Bites Topic. Those two Noters don't
like them, but they have seen them as support act for Jethro Tull and
    Robert Plant.

Have you been a member of the It Bites Fan Club?

Yes the German Top Ten (April):

     1.) Beinhart - Torfrock
2.) Hello Africa - Dr. Alban Feat. Leila K.
3.) Sadeness Part One - Enigma
4.) Go For It - Joey B. Ellis And Tynetta Hare
5.) Ice Ice Baby - Vanilla Ice
     6.) Innuendo - Queen
     7.) Gonna Make You Sweat - C & C Music Factory
8.) Keep On Running - Milli Vanilli
9.) Mary Had A Little Boy - Snap
    10.) Don't Worry - Kim Appleby

I really don't like any of those songs.

I've already got the 3" Sampler on Virgin. It is Vol 4 and contains:
Gary Moore, T' Pau, Mike Rutherford and It Bites. I haven't known, that
Virgin hasn't released the 3" CD Still Too Young To Remember as non
limited Edition. Virgin planed to release this one also here in
Germany. But as in the UK, they dindn't it. It was availible as an 5"
CD Single here in Germany. But it was manufacted in Austria.

So this was the thing, I've forgotten, to tell you.

    ^Jon^,

I think, that IQ will take a little time, to release new meterial, as
they have reformed a few weeks ago. Maybe at the end of 1991.

At the moment, our local Radio Station is playing playing a song by
O.M.D. wich title I can't remember at the moment. "I never know, I
never know, whyhyhy ...?" Good song. I was at a second hand record
store, today, and have looked after 12" Telegraph. But they haven't got
this record, unfortunately. I will take a stanger look.

Do you know that Francis Dunnery has made some backing voices on the
first Anderson, Wakeman, Bruford, Howe Album? I was very surprised
about that. And did you also know, that Richard Nolan did the Bass
tracks on three songs of Tony Banks Bankstatement Album?

I have also had a look after It Bites records, today. But didn't also
found any. Have you got any It Bites or IQ videos?

Did the guys of It Bites contribute to these peoples records before
or after they were in It Bites or before It Bites were famous,
because they might have been session musicians at the time or even,
maybe, possibly a bit strat for cash.

The O.M.D song is called 'Forever live & die' a hit here in 1986.

Unfortunatly I haven't got Bites or Q videos but the weekend I did buy
the 10" pic disc of Midnight.

824.25Living On The Edge Of My Nerves...HAM03::BRUEHLTALK TO MEMon May 06 1991 13:4944

    ^Jon^,

sorry, that this add is comming late, but I have had one week off.

Richard Nolan did the Bass for Banks in 1988/89 and Frank Dunnery did
his vocals for Anderson/Wakeman/Bruford/Howe also in 1988/89, I think.

They has already exist as It Bites at that time. They had played
together since they were thirteen or fourteen years old.

I wounder how you get a 10" Midnight Picture Disc. I can't imagine
that, as Midnight was only availible as 5" CD Single, 7" Single,
7" Picture Square Disc and 12" Single. So, are you shure that this
was Midnight? Underneath Your Pillow was released as a 10" Picture
Disc. It maybe will be that one.

I've got a letter from an English Penpall, today. He told me, that
he's recently read an add, which named the It Bites Live Album. But
this was an import from Japan and contains a bonus track. The release
date for the European release is not availible, yet. So watch out
    for this great album.

Do you know, that IQ did an Live/Studio Album between Nomzamo and Are
You Sitting Comfortably?, which contains four Studio and four Live
Tracks? It was also released as a CD an has a French sounding title,
which I can't remember at the moment. The cover was black cloured.
So watch out for this one, too.

I haven't this one, as I had never seen it in our Record Stores, and
didn't know about this album before the last weekend, as a Dutch friend
phoned me up, and told me about that album. So, btw, I have also an IQ
live tape. Interested in? The quality is ok.

So no more news at the moment. I can't wait for the Live album. This
will be great. If you ever will see it, please make sure, to let me
know, which songs are on it, and in which sizes it will be availible
(CD, LP, Tape, Video?????). I like to thank you for that.

So... let us Having A Good Day,

    cheers,

    ^Jon^,

as it seems, the Live Album was already released, over in Japan.
It contains a bonus track. Do you know, if it is a Double CD?

I would like to thank you, again, far looking after C.A.T.H. (not
    S.T.Y.T.R.) Double Pack.

So 18 Puonds for the Japanese Live Album is pretty expensive. So I
think, that I will do a swap with a Japanese Penpall of mine. Is the
    European Release Date known, yet?

On last Thursday, I've phoned up Virgin Records Germany, to ask for It
Bites and the new Live Album. They were not really friendly, but told
me, that It Bites is no longer with Virgin and so Virgin will not
release an It Bites Live Album. It seems that the guys have contracted
an other Record Label. Do you know which one?

Anyway. I think the Live Album will not be released here in Germany.
    But we will see.

I.Q. is going to do a gig in a German town near the Dutch frontier. I
can't remember the name at the moment. Unfortunately it is to far away,
from my hometown. So it seems, that they are on the road again. Very
good. A new record will follow at the end of this year. So that's the
    news for today.

    cheers

    Hello ^Jon^,

don't be worry about the S.T.Y.T.R. mistake.
A few month's ago I also phoned up Virgin to ask for It Bites.
A very friendly young lady told me a few things and she also told
me that It Bites are currently in Munic, recording Eat Me In St Louis.
They did it at the Musicland Studios. So I've good experiences with
Virgin. I asked her for some information material and she promised me
to look after those informations and said, that she will send those
to my home adress. What shall I say. Three days later I've got a big
envelope from Virgin with a lot of interesting informations, Press
Photos, reviews and boigraphies. Very good.
So I was very disapointed about the reaction of Virgin, last week.
I think It Bites is not in a very good mind of Virgin. Anyway.

I do not like to pay for the Japanese It Bites Live Album. I do like
to get it as Album, CD and Tape. I have a few Japanese Penpalls, which
do like to get European releases. And as I have a lot of spares, I
think I can do swaps, to get the It Bites Live Stuff. So what's about
you. Are you still missing It Bites records? Please let me know, as I
think, that I do have good connections to get the missing ones.
    (exerpt C.A.T.H. Double Pack haha). But A.I.R. 12", W.N.W. 12",
T.O.M.A.T.A. 5" those are no problem. Let me know.

So no more news at the moment. I can't wait for the live album. Only
four days until the releasing date. But I have to wait for it a little
bit longer, as it have to come from England and Japan. I think at the
beginning of June. Have you ever heard It Bites stuff like: Holiday,
I'll Let My Heart Decide, Welcome To The Wild Country, Everytime She
Kisses Me It Feels Like Summertime, Hounted? Those stuff were Promo
Stuff and was never released on Vinyl or CD. I think, that I have some
very interesting material for you. I also have Radio Sessions,
containing: Underneath Your Pillow, Sister Sarah, Murder Of The Planet
Earth, The Ice Melts Into Water, Vampires and so on. Shall I do a tape
for you? Don't be afraid to say yes, as I love it, to do It Bites
    tapes.

So let us having a good day...

until we'll meet you in the spring!

    I could do with the U.K. A.I.R. 12", cheers.

When Virgin wern't all that polite to you the secretary must have been
having an off day or maybe didn't like the sound of your voice haha.

I've never heard of any of that promo stuff? Are you sure it was
'Bites? If you could do a tape for me I'd appreciate it, thanks.

824.31I Live In Pyjamas, My Bed Is My Home...HAMIS3::BRUEHLYou've got nothing on meTue May 21 1991 11:0029

    Hello ^Jon^,

yes, yes, yes, I sure, that those Promo Stuff was by It Bites. Really.
Holiday and I'll Let My Heart Decide were recorded before they did
The Big Lad In The Windmill. ...Wild Country, ...Feels Like Summertime
and Hounted were recorded before Frank left the band. Those songs will
be, maybe, on the new It Bites or/and Frank Dunnery album. We will see.

I have got a letter from Japan on Saturday. In this letter I was told,
that Virgin Japan is going to put the Live Album on hold, as they like
to release it together with the Frank Dunnery Album in August. They
will also release a Live Video, than. But I can imagine that, as they
have to release also an It Bites Studio Album at nearly the same time.
To much stuff at the same time, I think. I also can't imagine that It
Bites are still with Virgin Japan, as they're no longer with Virgin
Europe. I think the Live Album will be released today, over in your
Country. Have you any informations about that?

Yes, I will do a tape for you. If you are so kind, to let me get your
home adress, I will tape it this week and send it over to you.

So that is all for the moment. Let us hope, that the Live album will be
a great one. It will be released as a double CD in Japan. In Europe it
    will be single packed.

    Cheers,

I am a fan of It Bites in Japan.
I have to inform bad-news of you.

    Hi |PETER| & Norio

Peter, How many contacts have you got? One from every corner of the
    globe?

I definately haven't been taking to much notice of the music press
lately(can you blame me!)and haven't seen any adverts, news, articles
etc about I.B. so I'm still not sure when the live album is going to be
    released.

Perhaps I.B. are not with Virgin in Britian but are still signed to
    them in other countries! Possibility.

Did you say it's possible to get hold of the U.K. A.I.R. 12"?

Monday we didn't come in due to it being a Bank Holiday. Do you have
    them in Germany as well?

    Many Joylities & Good Will

P.S. I picked up K.L.J. 12" poster sleeve at the weekend.

    Hi ^Jon^, hi Norio,

it's nice, that we're three, now.

^Jon^, no! We don't have this holiday. What a shame.

I do have contacts to: Netherlands, America, Japan and England.
I think, this is enough, to get some nice items, from foreign
Countries. I think, I have no problem, to get hold of the 12" UK All In
Red. Let me know, if you like me, to do this.

I've already heard about the not releasing of the Live Album. But I
don't understand why. I've heard, that It Bites will wait until Frank
is going to release his solo album. But what's about their studio
album? When are they going to release this one? I don't know.

I've also got the 12" Kiss Like Judas Giant Poster Pack. But I've got
it twice. So I was able, to put one in a frame against the wall. Nice.

Norio, it is nice, to hear from japanese It Bites likers. I have three
japanese Penpalls. Very friendly people. Which It Bites stuff have you
    got? Please let me know.

I'll be back, if I've heard any news.

    So long,

824.35How much did you pay for C.A.T.H. pic disc?SED750::STRUTTThu Jun 13 1991 13:236
    Hi |PETE|

Just thought I'd let you know I'm going to a big record fair this
Sunday! Fingers crossed for C.A.T.H. dbl pck.

    ^Jon^
824.36You have to see it from the right directionHAM03::BRUEHLYou've got nothing on meThu Jun 13 1991 13:4537

    ^Jon^,

thankyou for that information. I hope, that you'll have success in
getting C.A.T.H. Dbl Pck. But, I think you have to get a big luck
    for that.

I haven't paid for any It Bites Items, exerpt those, I've bought here
in Germany, those I've bought when I was in England and a few items
I was not able to swap with my items. I remember that I've swaped
C.A.T.H. Picture Disc agains a German 12" Single. I remember it was
Whole New World. I think it is better to do swaps, as there are no
horrible prices. And both swappers are able to complete their
collections. It's not important which worth an item has. But it is
important to have it. So a few penpalls aren't able to get German It
Bites releases in the UK, USA or Japan. So I watched out to get some
German stuff, mostly cheap. And I think the English, American and
Japanese Guys did the same way. For example. I have no problem, to get
5" S.T.Y.T.R. Germany, for about 3 Pounds 50. But in England this item
is about 35 Pounds worth. I've seen this at a auction which was held
at the It Bites Convention. And as I do not like to make any profits
with items, other people like to get, I like it to swap. I hope you
understand. But I have also paid for a few. 5" Kiss Like Judas US Promo
for about 22 Pounds, Eat Me In St Louis US Promo CD for about 20
Pounds and so on. You have to be silly enough, to pay those prices.
    Anyway.

I'm going to get an IQ live album tomorrow. It's a double LP and it
contains some older stuff like The Wake. I let you know, which songs
are on the vinyl, when I've received it.

I'm also waiting for a 12" Once Around The World US Promo LP by It
Bites. I hope that this one is going to arrive soon.

    That's it for now,

    Hello ^Jon^,

here I'm again with some informations on the IQ live album, I has
mentioned in the last note. I've just got it. Great.

It comes out in a black sleeve. The name of it is:

"Nine In A Pound Is Here"

Side I: It All Stops Here/Fascination/Intelligence Quotient

Side II: The Last Human Gateway

Side III: Awake And Nervous/Outer Limits/The Wake/Glenn Miller Medley

Side IV: Flak/The Story Of Cow And The Grogery Boys/Lost Horizon/
Robo II/Funk Is In My Brain/Stomach Of Animal/Sno It Pe Crep

I haven't heard it yet, but I hope that the sound will be ok.
Some songs on it, which I'd have never heard before.
Seems very exiting. I think it is the album, which is also availible as
a CD. I've told you about this, a few notes ago.

So that's about the IQ Live Album.

    Hello ^Jon^ and Norio,

    maybe some news for you.
I've received a letter from Maggie Ward, who is managing the It Bites
Fan Club, on Saturday. In this letter she told me, that she was not
allowed to tell anything about the band. She only told me that she's
sure, that we all will get a Newsletter from the club, very soon, and
that the band is in a very good condition. She couldn't say anything
about a Live Album, as they only has selected the tracks. Now it is in
Virgins hand, to release it, or not. A fact is, that they're no longer
    with Virgin.
I was very happy, to get this letter, as the Club is currently on hold.
I can't wait for more news. Let us hope, that those news will reach us,
    soon. So that's all.

    Cheers,

    Maybe some bad, bad news.

I've heard that Robert Dalton (Drums) has just left It Bites to play
drums for The Cult. I have no acknowledgement on this, but let us hope,
    that this isn't true.

I also have heard, that Francis Dunnery isn't agree with the releasing
    of an Live Album.

So this are the latest news.

    |PETER|_can't_believe_that

P.S.: Is there anyone out there, who has heard about a band called:
          "FOR ABSENT FRIENDS"?

    Hi |PETE|

Me again, ^Jon^. This is tragic news your telling me here Pete! Next
you'll be saying It Bites have split? Let us cross every part of our
anatomy and hope all is well.

Yep, I've heard of ABSENT FRIENDS, not bad, I quite like them.
I think they've recently been support to INXS here in England(proberly
    everywhere) and were well recieved.

    Regards

P.S. I thought The Cult had split around a year ago!

    Hello ^Jon^,

yesterday I've received a parcel from a friend in Japan.
He sent me a few live Tapes and the Japanese Once Around The World
    tape.

I'm sitting in front of my terminal and listening to those tapes, while
I'm working. Sometimes, I stop working and catch a intensive
listening to the music. At those moments, I really can't understand,
that Francis has taken away the chance, that It Bites will be famous
one day. All in all it's a very sad story, isn't it?

    Hi |PETE|

I've just read on my Teletext service on my T.V. at home that It Bites
are releasing a new album, in Britian, called 'Thank You and Goodnight'
due out on August 19th. The piece also said this is the last album to
    feature Francis.

    Did you know about this?

824.47I'll meet you in the spring, and all the bird will singHAM03::BRUEHLYou've got nothing on meTue Jul 16 1991 11:5626

    Hello ^Jon^,

this is one of best (if it is not THE best) news, during the last
weeks. "Thankyou And Goodnight"! Why did they select this title for the
album? I think there will be some terrible things with the band.
Let us hope, that Robert hasn't left the band and let us hope, that
they are going to tour, also here in Europe.
How can it be, that Frank also features on the album? I can't imagine
that. So now, I can't wait for this album.

As you have only one week at Digital. Please let me know your home
adress. So we can write letters. I do like it a lot. What do you think
about that? If you like to write, feel free, to use this adress:
    Peter Bruehl, P.O. Box 1131, 2155 Jork, West-Germany.

^Jon^, thankyou for those nice months of corospondence. It was very
nice to know about you, out there. Take a good care, and all the best
    for your future.

    |PETER|

P.S.: it will be a little bit It Bites' less in here, for the next
time. Should I note with myself, or is there anyone out there, who's
going to take ^Jon's^ place? I hope so!

    ^Jon^,

I've had more thoughts about the title of the forth comming album.
It seems to be a Live album, as Frank features on the record. And
a few bands usually say: "Thank You And Good Night", when they
leave the stage. But I also think, that there is a deeper mind in
the title. I think, it is the last It Bites album, also.

Let us hope, that I'm wrong. But I get the feeling.

No news from the Fan Club, yet.

I let you know, if get any informations until Friday.

    So let's have another cold-rainy-summerday.

    Cheers,

    |PETE|,

Yep, It's proberbly that live album we've been hearing about over the
last couple weeks. I expect your right about the title relating to
the band going off stage, well done.

I've seen your name in notes on a number of occasions. The current
one is about synth albums, you don't have any rare Kraftwerk albums
by any chance. Oh well! Just thought I'd mention it.

My home address is : Jonathan Strutt, 66 Benhams Drive, Horley, Surrey.
    RH6 8HS. England.

Oh and just one more quiery(sp). Your address says West-Germany.
                                                       ????????????

Thanks very much for the best wishes and very best to you too.
So here's hoping for brilliant album.

824.50What's about Kraftwerk?HAMIS3::BRUEHLYou've got nothing on meThu Jul 18 1991 16:3926
    ^Jon^,

maybe, my last comment on this.

Yes, I do have limited Kraftwerk editions. But no albums.
I have: 12" The Robots in red vinyl and 7" The Robots in red vinyl.

So that's about my limited Kraftwerk editions. Have you, or anybody
    elso an interest on this?

I also have the 7" original release of Radioactivity.

I wrote West_Germany, as our post offices hasn't already put West and
East Germany together. So it's possible, that a letter moves around in
the Eastern Lands of Germany for a few days. It's only to hold the
    duration as less as possible.

    So, that's all.

    |PETER|

P.S.: Have just got the It Bites Video: Live at Yubin Chokin Hall,
Tokyo, from Japan. The only thing I have to do now, is, to convert it
from NTSC into PAL. If you like to get a copy of, let me know.

    Hello , again,

I'm looking for some informations about a music project which was done
in 1989, I think. It featured a few musicans from several bands. It
featured also Frank Dunnery. They did a song, for saving the forests.
Does anybody know something about the name of the project, or/and about
the name of the title, they did?

    I will appreciate every comment.
