    Vicky,
I have two 12"'s Won't Let Go and I Hear you Call.

As I remember, the lead singer's name is Rachel Morrison.
Whatever her name, I like her sound. I assume with two 12" there
is at least one album out there somewhere.

I'll look up the two when I get home.

    Cheers,
    George

Bliss is Rachel Morrison- Vocals
         Paul Ralphes - Bass
         Chris Baker - Drums
         Paul Sirett - Guitar
         Roger Askew - Keyboards

with Morrison/Ralphes credited on the 6 songs on the two 12" along
with another writer on two of the songs.

The songs are:
Won't Let Go
Sweet Lovin' Child
Light and Shade on Parlophone 12 R 6216

I Hear You Call (LP version) which certainly implies an LP available
Waited Too Long
May It Be on This Earth on Parlophone 12 R 6202

both released in 1989.

I rummage the cut price bins at Trash Records in Ayr and at 50p take a
few risks on unknown bands. This was a successful risk. I'd compare
Bliss to Lone Justice. Strong female lead over a country/pop band with
more than a hint of gospel. Rachel Morrison's voice is husky along the
lines of Tracy Chapman or Julia Fordham and she apparently enjoys
showing off her full range.

I have no idea where they are based out of.

Cheers,
George
