4559.0. "POP server on VMS" by MARIN::ARVIND (Fix BUGS.. Call BUGS Bunny) Thu Mar 20 1997 21:23

    Just noticed that UCX 4.1 on VMS 7.1 has a POP server available.
    Can I use this to get my mail onto my Eudora Client?
    Second but more important, my mail server (VMS) is running 6.1
    (with UCX 3.3) ; can I just upgrade UCX to 4.1 without any
    problems?

    Thanks,

    You might want to ask this in the LASSIE::UCX conference, or just pull
    the installation guide and give it a quick perusal.

    Or, you can run the IUPOP server with what you have.

    Check previous notes in this conference.

4559.6Works with cluster?ZPOVC::HENRYCHEUNGBack To The BasicsSun Mar 30 1997 10:346
Does it support cluster? If it does, I may consider it for users with
large number of users.

Sure it does. All my mail is sent to the STAR cluster, and I suck it down to my
laptop using the UCX POP server that's running on STAR. UCX takes care of the
cluster alias.
