826.0. "Has anyone lost their Failover IP object ?" by CIVPR1::SIMMONS (Mike Simmons (301) 918-5597) Fri May 23 1997 17:31
Has anyone reported a problem in which the Failover IP Object becomes
unavailable? I don't have enough information to write a problem statement, but
we are seeing the "System" process (pid=2) take over ~99% of the CPU and cause
the server to be unusable until a reboot. It was repored that the IP address
did not respond. I don't have enough info to say whether or not this was just
the result of the hung SYSTEM process, or whether the hung SYSTEM process could
be an indirect result of the loss of the IP address.
