Hi, I have a problem occourred on a large number of PC client
based on "Intel PentiumPRO 200" with "64Mb of RAM memory",
"Windows NT Workstation 4.0 with SP3" and "Digital Cluster
for Windows NT V1.1" client installed.
>1st problem:
All the pcs after the of Cluster Client software installation
are very slow on network activity (running NETTIME command,
for example).
>2nd problem:
All the machines can do a "NET USE" command on the Cluster's
shares but they can't do NET USE /D of those shares, because
a message appears saying "There are open files in use on the
share".
If I force the disconnection of the share answering "Yes" to
the message the system return a negative message and the share
is not disconnected.
The only way to disconnect the share is deleting the "user.dat"
file under the personal profile of the user that has connected
the share.
Using Windows 95 all function properly.
My questions are:
1> Has Windows NT Workstation 4.0 some known problem as Client
for Digital Cluster for Windows NT ?
2> Can someone suggest me a solution or workaround to solve the
problem ?
Many thank's in advance.
Marco Tampelloni.
