801.0. "Process occassionally hangs ins STOP/START scripts" by CIVPR1::SIMMONS (Mike Simmons (301) 918-5597) Tue May 13 1997 22:05

We have an application in both our STOP and START scripts that sometimes will
hang when executed via the script. It is very unpredictable. It can failover
20 times in row without it hanging, then 20 more in a row, hanging every time.
The application does not interact with the desktop (if you give it good
parameters-which is the case since it is called via the script), but it never
hangs when run not as a failover script (and sometimes hangs when run as a
failover script). Is there any troubleshooting that we can do to see why the
application is hanging? Kernel Debugger? Anything?
