623.0. "Clust Client W95 "Find File" Prob." by ACISS2::SDATZMAN () Mon Feb 17 1997 11:18

    My customer has recently encountered problems with the Win95
    "Find File" function when the cluster client is installed. The
    "Find File" function seems to lock up. Has anyone encountered
    this? When the cluster client is removed, Find File works OK.

    Cluster configuration is NTS 3.51SP5, Clusters 1.0a SP1, RA410.
    Everything has been working OK. One of the end users has just
    noticed this problem with Find File.

    Thanks,

    Steve D.

    This problem was fixed in ... v1.0 sp1. I don't know what v1.0a was.
    I definitely fixed this one.

623.3Is there a Service Pak 1 for the client?ACISS2::DATZMANVee Vont To Pomp You UpWed Feb 19 1997 15:538
    re: .1

    Does installing the SP1 for the servers fix this problem or is there a
    corresponding SP1 for the client as wel?

    Thanks,

    Windows 95 Clients

       Updated dclnamc.vxd File Available to Fix
       a Problem with Find Files/Folder

          On a Windows 95 client, if a user selects
          Find Files/Folders from the Start menu,
          the window can freeze and no further network
          browsing can occur. To fix this problem, an
          updated driver is provided with the Clusters Service
          Pack 1 release. The driver, dclnamc.vxd, is located
          in the following directory on the CD-ROM:

          \CluSP1\Client\W95

623.5Must run a .bat file to get new clientLJSRV1::SCHLENERWed Feb 19 1997 17:204
    NOTE!!!! Just running setup off the sp1 will NOT update the client. You
    need to read the release notes. There is a .bat file that needs to be
    run to get the new client.
