355.0. "Under One Roof" by GRANPA::JBOBB (Janet Bobb dtn:339-5755) Sat Apr 01 1995 11:08

    Has anyone been watching the show Under One Roof? It's on Tuesday
    night 8pm, don't remember which channel, but is one of the major
    networks. It's about 3 generations of a family living under one roof
    (well kinda one roof, in that the house is a duplex).

    James Earl Jones plays the grandfather and has a 25 yr.old daughter
    living with him/taking care of the house since the grandmother died
    (within the previous 2 years). He also has a foster son, around 16-17
    yrs old, who's lived with them for the past few years. Jones' character
    is a police officer and took in the boy when the boy's mother OD'd. Joe
    Morton (?) plays the father, with his wife and 2 kids live in
    the other side of the house. He's retired from the service and has
    opened a hardware store with an army buddy.

    I started watching the show because of Jame Earl Jones, but have
    continued to watch it because it's a good show. Good family dynamics,
    real life issues, definately not the Cosbys!

    I've seen it once or twice. I liked it, but I've aleady exceeded my TV
    threshold. It's a good family drama.
