I watched it out of desperation. (nothing good on tv anymore) I
thought the show was very lame! I found nothing about it funny!
I do think Martin Short is a funny guy, but he's not for a 1hr TV
show. ....NEXT!

| I listened to it while cooking myself din din. It does indeed
sound very lame, and the laugh track is VERY obvious that they
couldn't find a willing audience. Bring back "Cheers"!

| There were some funny bits- the parody of the movie "Dave" starring
Ed Grimley(I must say), and the "Sally Jesse Raphael" takeoff, but
something seemed to be missing. Given the talents of Martin Short,
Jan Hooks and the supporting cast (Brian Murray plays the make-up guy)
I think this show can only get better.

Anyone any more impressed with the 2nd show than the 1st?
Steve Martin helped, IMO, but even he couldn't save it unless
he were to be on every time, and get better with every appear-
ance [but too much of even Steve Martin could start to be some-
what annoying after awhile].

| First victum, well almost. CNN HN is reporting the show is
going on hiatus so it can be revamped and will return in December.
The network cited poor ratings and reviews.
