BTW...Dr. Peabody was the dog and the boy's name was Sherman, can't
remember the name of the cartoon though.

Peabody's Improbable History.
One of the delightful, and not very well known, sections of that greatest
of all cartoon shows, Rocky and Bullwinkle.

Tom Terrific was this little character -- I remember him in black and
white -- who wore a funnel-looking hat, and could turn into all kinds
of things, usually to hide from his enemies. Whatever he turned into,
though, his eyes were always visable as he'd be looking to see when the
coast was clear. To be honest, I don't recall too much else. But I do
remember Mighty Manfred the Wonderdog.

According to alot of flintstone stuff since the movie came out - Barney
didn't have a job. He worked a once at the quary - but he went back to
being Barney.
