1355.0. "Religious Experience" by CSC32::J_CHRISTIE (Spigot of pithiness) Sun May 18 1997 22:29

I found Religious Experience available in 17 oz. jars at my neighborhood
    food store.

I just had to see if it lived up to its name.

So, I tried the medium strength Religious Experience earlier this
    afternoon atop corn tortilla chips.

Religious Experience brand hot sauce is now available even to the
most casual of shoppers and can be located on the shelf alongside
    salsas, picantes, and chilies.

The extra hot variety of Religious Experience is labeled "The Wrath."
I'm afraid I need to work my way up to that kind of Religious Experience.

    Shalom,
    Richard

"The Wrath" must have habaneros in it.

The Wrath is well worth it, but use in small doses. It isn't a hab
based sauce, but full of some of the hotter jalepenos and probably
    ground glass as well ( ;-) )

Now Halfway to Pure Hell and Pure Hell are hab based and will take you
    to another level of consiousness.

Is that another way of saying it will knock you on your
    unholy butt?

I see I'm not alone in having my Religious Experience directly and
    immediately.

I've been wondering about sharing my Religious Experience with others.

...that or it will give you colon cancer

Much less likely to do that than a standard meat and potato diet.
these salsas have fiber as well as bite.

I don't know, I've seen reports arguing that colon cancer rates are
high in areas where lots of spicy foods are eaten.

    I'm reminded of Sprole's Law...

"If there is an opinion, facts will be found to support it."

Opinions are like the exit from the colon.

Everybody's got one.
