To me, a time I set aside to be with God. It's the time that I talk
with him in depth and listen to what he has to say.

What does Sabbath mean to me?

It means preparing the day before for the Sabbath.
It means not working; either for profit or chores.
        It means Singing in Choirs.
It means going to Vespers, Church Services, and afternoon
Church activities & often Vespers again.
It means being with my family.
It means listening to a non-secular concert or recital.
It means playing with my children.
It means reflecting upon religous thoughts.
        It means rest.
It means respite from secular cares and worries.
It means reading theological tracts instead of watching
           prize fights or a movie.
It means listening to soft music and thinking quietly upon life.
It means having friends over for dinner to enjoy eachother's company.
It means enjoying the day and sharing it with others.
It means being with my mate - I miss this one.
It means trying to avoid having others compromise their Sabbath so you
           can enjoy yours.
It means not compromising the rest of the week on infringements
           to this day.
