-< Special to air on PBS "The Resurrection of Reverand Moon" >-
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reverand Sun Young Moon is in the news again. On the way into
work today, NPR was advertising an upcoming special on PBS entitled
"The Resurrection of Reverand Moon" which sounded very interesting.
Apparently, according to the review, the show documents Moon's
backing of the Gulf War via various propaganda channels in the U.S.
including direct editorial control of the Washington Times newspaper
staff. Apparently the show (which is to air either tonight or tomorrow
night) uncovers a link between the Unification church and a large
group of American politicians via front campaigns that pawn themselves
off as being American conservative groups. One such front organization,
known as the "American Freedom Coalition" (AFC) is described by one of
the members as being neither American, about freedom, nor a coalition.
I think the report also said that the Washington Times was owned by
the AFC (in other words, the Washington Times is owned by Reverand Moon).
The Unification church, which is based in South Korea, and
which has many powerful adherents in both South Korea and Japan, is
said to view the third world war as one which is fought in the mind.
In other words, the third world war is a psychological war in which
the battlefields are our own souls. A very interesting concept.
Furthermore, the Unification church also does not believe in democracy.
Moon's people apparently view democracy as a "weak" form of government,
and they instead prefer autocracy. The moonies seek to form a single
world government based on such an autocracy. Perhaps this is the true
meaning of George Bush's phrase "the new world order"?

-< Talk About Conspiracy Theories!!! WOW! >-
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It turns out the show I mentioned was broadcast on last night's
"Frontline" edition. It was shocking to watch the Frontline reporters
trace trails of money from these ultra conservative so-called American
causes all the way to The Unification church and Reverand Moon. It
turns out the Unification church (via the AFC, and various other front
organizations) was also one of the original backers of money to the
Contras as well.
Even more scandalous was the conclusion of the show when it was
revealed that the Unification church is itself a front organization!
The real money source was traced all the way to one of the richest
Japanese men in the world named Sasakawa (sp?). Sasakawa is a fascist
who trained with Musolini in Italy during the 30's, and who later was
one of three of the primary Japanese proponents of war against the U.S.
Sasakawa is now the head of the Japanese speed boat racing syndicate
and is a very powerful man in Japan. Sasakawa has supported every
conservative movement in the U.S. since WWII through his series of
front organizations, including (but hardly limited to) the recent
Gulf War. He has also supported the campaigns of conservative U.S.
presidents such as Reagan and Bush. Bush recently pardoned Reverand
Moon (who was in federal U.S. prison on tax evasion or some such).
This is only the tip of the iceberg on what looks to be one of
the biggest scandals regarding Japanese manipulation of American
government officials I've ever seen. I expect an immense cover-up
to ensue now that this show has aired as politicians scramble to
erase any evidence of this Japanese money trail. This could also
blow the lid off of the conservative stranglehold which has gripped
this country for so long.

| Hello,
Are you sure about the pardon? I watched the show and I thought it
said that Moon was trying to get a pardon from Bush but so far
Bush has been ignoring him or something. In other words, Bush has
not pardoned him.
Thanks,
Danny T.

I saw the show again Sunday night. This time I noticed that I
may have been misled about Moon being pardoned. Apparently Moon is
still in prison. The reason I was confused was due to the fact that
midway through the show they were talking about Moon's pardon (as if
he had already been pardoned). Later they showed where both Bush and
Reagan had considered pardoning him, but towards the end, it was implied
that his pardon has yet to go through.
In any case, it turns out that Moon is but one of many such pawns
of super rich Japanese Fascists anyway (Sasakawa, etc.), so it is
unclear what effect his imprisonment really has on the underlying
Japanese manipulation of American conservative movements.
