I have much to be thankful for, but some of them are:

       * My fellow moderators and members of C-P. My life is being
    blessed day by day....thank you.

       * Some *VERY* special friends that help me "see" when I can't.
Those who love me even though I am not always lovable.

       * Ro and her 277.* Angels are so special and have had such an
    important part of my life.

       * Of special note is one person that I *HAVE* to thank. Richard
Christie has blessed my life by his very existence. Thank you Richard.

       * there are many others but I might embarrass them if I put each of
them down....but I do love you all. Thank you!

Dave,

I am genuinely touched and surprised!

You know, you have enriched a great number of lives by your ministry,
leadership and example, Dave. If you don't know it, you should!

Peace,
Richard

PS Incidentally, the last name is Jones-Christie. Our name was legally changed
by joining both "maiden" surnames when Sharon and I married.

Another *GREAT* blessing is the responce of this file to
prayer requests. I really believe that thru prayer, we can make a
difference. I have two currently....no updates yet.

    Thank you,
    Dave

One of the greatest blessings in my life is my two children. I feel
blessed that these beautiful wise loving souls have chosen me as
their mother. They have been my teachers, my inspiration, and many
times I'm just in awe at the Light and Love of God they bring into
this world. They would rankle at my suggestion of their spirituality,
but I've seen God's love working through them. I strongly believe that
Light is in everyone. However, I've just been able to observe it more
closely in my experience of them.

I am richly blessed.

My soul dwells in a body which frequently makes the minuscule monumental.
Obstacles, barriers, and opposition await my every effort. All too frequently,
even gravity poses a problem for me. I require someone to do things for me that
most people do for themselves without consciousness.

I am more decorative than functional, more hassle than help.

I am difficult to hug. I cannot even initiate body contact, except maybe
for an awkward movement that remotely resembles a gesture of offering a
handshake.

Sometimes I'm more difficult to love.

I'm not particularly handsome. I'm not a great wit. I'm neither charming
nor charismatic. I plan never to be materially wealthy. I've never taken
my spouse out without her driving. We've never gone dancing. We've never
gone bicycling together, something I know she would really enjoy doing.
I never taught my children how to swing a bat or to pitch a ball. I'm certain
they occasionally feel embarrassed about having me for a parent.

Yet, astoundingly, I am loved. I am loved not only by God, but by some
exquisitely wonderful people; people whose clarity of vision stems more
from the heart than from the eyes; people who love not "in spite of...,"
but "including...," and even "because of...".

I am richly blessed. I am wanted more than I am needed.

Peace,
Richard

    >I am difficult to hug.

Well Richard, I for one didn't find it difficult to hug you when I visited
    with you.

To add a few more things....you graciously open your home to people,
even those you haven't met yet. You are honestly interested in who
a person is and what they have to say. You care.

I'm glad you are in the world.

    Love,
    Carole

Yes, yes, yes!!! You are definitely loved. Everyone I know who has
met you speaks so highly of you. They all describe you in 'glowing'
terms - why some might even say an 'angel of Light'.

    Love,

Ro who hopes someday to finally meet you in person to give/receive a
real hug!! Afterall, it was you who got me back noting here again! ;')
Geesh, just look at all the 'fun' I'm having! 8^)

The whole thing, all of life, everything. Something I can mention
specifically is the I Ching (the Chinese book of wisdom). Not to
rathole, but has anyone used this? Among my several spiritual teachers,
this has been perhaps the most deep, consistent and long-term. For
anyone who hasn't read it, it is of supreme importance to get the
Wilhelm/Baynes translation, published by Princeton U. Press. There
are adaptations of this around that put the I Ching to silly uses for
    which it was not intended.

It was my pleasure to get together with noter (infrequent here though
it may be) Jay McCanta for lunch today. It's so good to connect this
two-dimensional medium with a real, live three-dimensional person!

    Shalom,

I was blessed this afternoon to be able to get together and share
a sense of community with noter Eric Myers. There are really some
fine human beings behind these notes.

Aww shucks... I get so nervous meeting new people, I couldn't shutup.

It was a joy to meet you face to face, Richard. Chances are it will be
years, if ever, before I can get out West again.

Oh, and for those of you who are curious... Richard doesn't have horns.
    I checked. :^)

    Eric,

I wish things would have worked out so we could have seen each other
too. Anyway, metting Richard was truly a blessing.
