330.0. "The Penultimate Walt Disney World Quiz" by LJOHUB::GOLDBERG (Len, I Own a Piece of the Magic) Mon Dec 07 1992 12:59

About a year ago I started to write what was to be the Ultimate Walt
Disney World trivia quiz. It was to be a contest with prizes and
everything. I never did finish it, but what the hey.

Here it is. Raw and unedited. Some of the questions are ridiculously
simple. Others are sublimly difficult. Go at it. (I has originally
planned to exclude the moderators from the game, but since there are so
few left, they can play too.)

Resist the temptation to peek at the replies before you try to answer
the questions. I expect they'll all be answered in about three days.

    Len.

P.S. I also found a couple of half-written trip reports if anyone is
    interested. :-)

    Nice Try, Ruth!

I'm not refering to the quality of the answers, but the
fact that someone has been brave enough to enter a reply! Things have
been very quiet from the UK community since it was revealed that our
CEO reads notes (or at least has them monitored for him)! He states in
writing that "Some employees waste far too much of the company's time
complaining - the number of irrelevant contributions to the Notes files
    is evidence of that."

I think he's just destroyed the theraputic value of Notes. Sometimes
it's the only place you can let off steam! I wonder what he thinks of
non-work related conferences in general - are they irrelevant?

Oh Well, if after 18 years with Digital, I've even had to arrange my
own exit interview and struggle to find a manager willing to do it, why
    should I worry!

Questions I Know I've Heard Before, But I Can't Remember The Answer, And I
Can't Find It Right Now, And A Lightbulb Will Go On When I See The Answer:

    3.	In what municipalities does WDW reside -- Lake Buena Vista, Bay
Lake(?), Kissimmee(?). All I know is it's a lot of land
that gets mighty rural, mighty quick. But can I get partial
credit for knowing that it's in Orange and Osceola counties?)
    26.	Mickey's Garden -- ???
    55.	Official Coffee -- ??? (All I can remember is sponsorships by the
		Columbian Coffee Growers)
    63.	Name of the bartenders at the Adventurer's Club -- ??? (But you'd
better believe I'm checking the nametags in 2 weeks!)
    64.	The ticket taker at the Main St. Cinema -- ??? (Ditto!)
    75.	Why is this inconsistent? -- ???

OK, I Surrender On These:

    11.	Name the five islands in these two bodies of water -- Discovery
		Island and ?????
    80.	DACS -- ??? (For my 5-year old, it would stand for Disney Afternoon
		Cartoon Series!)
