    It's been three years since the last reply but I had to get my 2 cents
    worth in. I liked this book! Maybe because I've always found Mr. Clark
    to be a very interesting character, or because it *didn't* have as much 
    technology but I liked it. I found the evolution of Mr Clark from a      
    relatively "normal" guy to a killing machine to be fascinating and very sad.
    
    No, it isn't as well written as many of his other books, but I thought
    it was a bit more human, in some ways, then his others.
