Has anyone sailed on the SSCaribe or with Commodore Cruise Lines. South Florida
Cruises says that it is an old ship but nice. I've been on old ships before
with good results.

Any information appreciated.

I know a person who took a cruise on the Caribe and was very
dissapointed. The ship was very unstable in rough waters (apparently
old ships don't have stabilizers) and the service was very poor.
She picked this ship because the price was right, I guess you get what
    you pay for.

We just got back with the desired results, tired and heavier than when we left.
The SS Caribe is a small 40 year old ship but nice. Lots of nice old wood
throughout. I liked the library. This was a great ship for us (2 adults and
11, 13, 18 year old). We would have been uneasy about letting our kids run as
loose as they did on this ship. There were lots of other kids and they had
special activities that the kids actually enjoyed doing. They accurately told
us what to expect in each port and we had a great time. This was our 3rd
cruise. We were on the Monarch of the Seas (huge ship) the last time. WELL
worth the cost for my family. We got what we paid for and loved it...

Grand Cayman, Ocho Rios, Montego Bay, Nassau, Blue Lagoon (private Island)
