    Congratulations on your upcoming marriage.

The cruise we took stopped at a different port everyday.
We usually split the half between a beach and shopping.
I found that wearing a sundress with my bathing suit
under it worked out best for daytime. I didn't look
like a slob when I went into the shops, and it seemed
cooler than shorts and a top. My husband just wore shorts
    and t-shirts.

The evenings depend on the theme. Captains Dinner is formal.
I did see some men in tuxes but the majority wore a suit and
tie. There were very few gowns, but there were some very
pretty outfits. I saw short dresses, and outfits with silk
pants. There might be one other night that you may have
to dress up for. The rest of the week women were wearing
outfits that had skirts/skorts/shorts with matching jackets,
nice pants, or dresses. They did not allow shorts in the
diningroom for dinner unless they were part of a suit. Men wore
short sleeve linen or cotton shirts with nice pants - no tie. There
are also theme nights that could be country/western or 50's/oldies.
Some folks did come dressed for the occasion, but it was not required.

You can look up the itinery in the Royal Caribbean booklet. It
will tell you the dress for the evening and plan around it.

Have a wonderful time, I think you made a great choice for
    your honeymoon.

375.2I'm on the 6/28 cruise date, I'll let you know...NOPLAN::LOUCKSWed Jun 10 1992 21:4710
    re: .0 - Jacqueline

Congratulations on your marriage, too! My wife and I are booked on the
6/28 sailing of the Majesty of the Seas, so when I return I'll be happy
to update you on what I've observed since it's the same ship.

re: .1 - I would tend to agree with you from what I've heard already
about the cruise from a noter who just returned from the same cruise.
