| Well, I'm not a single parent, but I did just return from the
combination cruise/disney vacation on this cruise line, and I do have
2 kids, 11 and 5, so I thought I'd throw my 2 cents worth in.
The cruise was great! Lots of fun for both parents and kids. There
are programs for kids of all ages, and both of my kids were kept busy
a lot of the time by the organized activities. The 5 year old spent
much of his time in "Pluto's playhouse", where there were qualified
people keeping the kids busy. Movies, swimming, tours of the bridge,
playdough, visits by Micky and company, pirates etc, were some of the
things they did. The activities went from 10am to 10pm (except lunch
and dinner). They also conduct baby-sitting from 10pm to 1am (for $3
per hour). They had mats for the kids, so they would typically fall
asleep watching a movie if they were there late.
And don't worry about keeping busy yourself, there was lots going on!
Shows, a disco, a pub, casino, pools etc. Not to mention the
absolutly fantastic dining experience!
If you've never been to Disneyworld, I suggest 4 days there (we spent
6), and a 3 day cruise (though we'll do a longer cruise next time).
We went the last week in April and I was surprised to see that the
lines were not bad at all. I've been going to DisneyLand since I was
a kid (too long ago!) and this was one of the best as far as
ling-waiting was concerned. They are either getting better at it, or
loosing business...

In case you didn't get an answer to this... it's a card you can get from
your personnel/benefits administrator. It offers a variety of discounts
that change from year to year, but always has some kind of discount for
Premier. It's main purpose is to provide discounts on resort packages
for Disney.
