370.0. "Need Package Tips" by PHAROS::FANTOZZI (Follow, or get out of my way) Thu May 14 1992 14:38

    We are considering taking a cruise in September, preferably one that
    will stop in various locations, warm places.

    It would be for a week.

    Does anyone have any recommendations on good packages out there?

    Thanks!

370.1Good deals at RCL for SeptemberFPTWS1::ABRAMSOnly 114 days to vacation!Thu May 14 1992 20:5111

My wife got us an incredible deal on the Sovereign of the Seas
for September 12 which is under $2000 for two...

The SOS stops at San Juan, St Thomas/St John, and normally at Labadee
but is going to Nassau (brief stop) instead right now.

...also the new ship Majesty of the Seas (same cruise line, Royal Caribean)
is also sailing now and has heavily discounted rates...

I just found out our cruise is $1750 for both of us, outside cabin, a middle
deck... add about $400-500 airfare cause we deleted air from our package.

    Colorado Discount Cruises (800-388-CRUISE) has special discounts on
    the same ship (Sovereign of the Seas) for some dates in June and July.
    Something like $695 per person.

    Correction, the $695 only applies to some western states and it does
    not include air. Air out of Denver is $249, this makes a total package
    of $944.

370.5Cruising to BermudaSASE::PERROTTAWed Jun 03 1992 17:3622
    My husband and I will be taking an 8 day, 7 night cruise to Bermuda on
    Royal
    Carribbean's, Nordic Prince. The Grand Total for the both of us $16666.00
    and that includes everything. All of your meals are on-board ship. We
    dock at one end of the island for a couple of days and then the ship
    moves to the other end of the island. You use the ship as your hotel. I
    think its a terrific way to go. From what I understand, meals are a
    very expensive entity in Bermuda.

    We will be leaving New York Harbor on October 18th. They will be
    providing bus transporation from the Nashua area to New York so you
    won't have to worry about where you are going to park your car while
    you are gone.

    The last time I spoke with the travel agent from Cruise Holidays of
    Nashua, there were still plenty of rooms available.

    If you're interested, you can call them at (603)881-7300 or they have
    an (800)369-8650. Most likely, they're scattered all over the place.

    Hope this info helps
