    First of all, Brian in Note .2, who is J.M. Olazable?
    Is this a new kind of breakfast cereal?

    Seriously the winner will be Davis Love III in a playoff win over
    the fully recuperated Mr. Norman.

    Mark Ross
355.6Can He Repeat??GRANPA::KVENEZIOTue Aug 09 1988 15:424
    I think Larry Nelson will repeat. He loves the heat and you can
    expect temps near 100.

355.10SHARK attackNCVAX1::SHEETSHere today--gone to MAUITue Aug 09 1988 20:533

    I think its time the SHARK was back....Ill take Greg Norman.

355.11as good a guess as anyAIMHI::BERNARDWed Aug 10 1988 16:4819

    I'd like to see the Golden Bear win just one more big one. Might
    almost top the Gretsky trade for news.

    Ben Crenshaw could use the money to buy shoes for the new baby

    Ray Floyd needs to buy some weight control equipment and of course
    Marc Calcavechia has to have his wife caddy to save money.

    The winner must do something outrageous like dive in a pond and
    not say "well, I'm just glad to be here......."

    Since this is the year of first time winners, I'll root for Scott
    Verplank.

    now he's surenot to make the cut.

355.12Wait for MichelobCIMNET::DSULLIVANWed Aug 10 1988 20:308

    Yet another favorite slips by...

    My bet's on Mr. Michelob himself Roger (have another cig) Maltbe

    otherwise,

     I'll have to go with Ken Green
355.13WORDS::NISKALABest of the restThu Aug 11 1988 12:355
    	Fred Couples, Ben Crenshaw, or Curtis Strange. Norman has
    said the layoff to recover may have been the best thing for him,
    it has brought back the burning desire to win. Look out, if he's
    not rusty, he may take it. I'd like to see that, but I don't think
    it will happen.
355.14MSEE::SULLIVANThu Aug 11 1988 13:001
      His time has come---Brad Faxon!
355.15The white SharkNEXUS::HORSTFri Aug 12 1988 13:254
