I have been reading about a "Head to Head" confrontation between
the World No 1 and No 2 Ranking Golfers.
"Greg Norman v Tiger Woods"
This sounds a great event but Norman has declined due to a busy
schedule which is fair enough, although personally I do not see what
this will prove and it is unlikely that both players will not perform
to the highest posible level of exellence.
Who is the No 1 Golfer in the world ?
I think the Sony World Rankings answer that question !!
Each week on Tour there are a lot of top players who win
Tournaments. Norman and Woods do not finish 1st and 2nd every week.
Whereas they do put in consistency over the period which determines
there recognition as their position within the Ranking system.
