GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. (AP) - A teen-ager who slammed his golf
club against a bench in frustration over a bad shot was killed
when the club's sharp, broken shaft snapped back and pierced his
	heart, authorities said.
Jeremy T. Brenno, 16, of Gloversville was playing golf with
some friends at the Kingsboro Golf Club on Saturday afternoon
when he hit the bench with is three-wood at the sixth hole, Fulton
	County Sheriff's deputies said Sunday.
The broken shaft struck him in the chest. He was pronounced
dead at a hospital about three hours later.
Brenno would have been a senior at Gloversville High School.
Gloversville is about 40 miles northwest of Albany.

Remember this next time you get pissed and feel like letting a
"whirlybird" fly. It could have been worse...if he had killed someone
    else!!

A few weeks ago while playing in an early-morning league at Juniper
Hill in Northboro, I was nearly hit with a putter someone threw
from the 8th green. I was walking from the 9th tee down to my bag,
and the putter missed me by less than ten feet...came through some
	trees.

There are some sick people out there.
