Has anyone heard anything about the Palmer Golf Channel. I heard
yesterday that they are considering a 24 hour Cable channel for golf
only. It would feature other tournaments (amature, Space Coast, Nike,
etc...) , training videos, instruction, excercise, game shows, etc..
Sounds like a sleeper!

Yes, I read it on this week's Golf World, but is far from a done
deal. They are still looking for $$$ financing, in the tune of
tenths of millions if I remember correctly.
I agree with you, I can stand watching golf on Sundays, but not a
channel totally dedicated to golf.
On the other side, I get now channels for, lets see:
- shopping
- Court cases
- religion
- psychic
- congress (Cspan)
- comedy
- weather
- cartoons
- music
- all kind of movies
- three PBS channels
- education
And they all seem to survive, so maybe an all-golf channel will too.

Any updates on the Golf Channel? I thought it was supposed to go
on-line in January? I read a brief article recently (Boston Globe?
Golf Digest?) that not many local cable operators were picking it up
because they didn't have a free channel to assign it to. I know
I haven't received any promo info from my cable company (Cablevision).
Anybody know any more about it?
How much golf is too much ?!
