1392.0. "Golf courses around Disney Land (CA)?" by DECWET::COLGATE () Wed Nov 06 1991 15:20

Can someone advise me on good/bad/ugly courses in the Anaheim area?

Thanks!

There are many courses near Disneyland - if 30 minutes is your driving
limit (one way). "Dad"Miller is a relatively easy 18 hole course just
north of Disneyland. Willowick is also easy, but fun and easier to get
on. It is just south of Disneyland. Green River has two 18's and is
about 20 minutes east of Disneyland. Tustin Ranch is a high profile
course, fun to play but cost $50+ and is about 20 minutes south of
Disneyland. In Irvine there is Rancho San Joaquin. Anaheim Hills is
an interesting layout (some blind shots) and is about 15 minutes east
of Disneyland. A new course is opening up this weekend right on the
coast between Laguna BEach and Newport called Pelican Ridge. Many
other courses..all are hard to get on, many are expensive for weekend
    play (>$30).

    Enjoy.
