Is there anyone who is thinking about using their frequent flier
coupons to make a trip this calendar year. I have 2 United coupons
good for anywhere in the US but travel has to be completed by Dec. 31
and I can't use them by that time. Would like to trade mine for yours
as yours will have a longer shelf life and I could use them next year.

Are you sure the travel has to be completed by Dec 31 or do you only
have to redeem the coupons by then?
I thought I was under the same circumstance, but I only had to redeem
the coupons by Oct 15th, not complete travel. So I made reservations
for next spring and redeemed the coupons for the ticket before Oct
15th.
