1370.0. "daily fees/good course" by TOLKIN::HOGAN () Wed Sep 18 1991 10:57

I was wondering if anyone knew of any courses that had a daily fee.
My brother and I are planning a all day Golf blow-out this Friday.
I know it is tough to find a good course that offers this but hey it
    dosen't hurt to ask?

Last I knew, Green Meadows in Hudson NH had a daily fee. Played there
last year, for $15 I played 36 holes.

Well, it's not quite the same, but at Millwood (Framingham), you can
play another 14 (yup, 14) for another $2.00 (or maybe $3.00...haven't
checked this season); and the regular weekend greens fee is $15.00.

Check with Pinecrest (Holliston) - they *may* have a daily fee.

Bretwood, in Keene, NH has a daily fee ($25 I believe) and is worth
the trip. They have an 18-hole course and a 9-hole course there.

Pinecrest doesn't have a daily fee but the whole course is away from
the clubhouse so as long as you don't take a cart you can play 36
easy. At least that's what I have heard 8*) The rate during the week
    is $15 and $12 after 2pm

"If" you don't mind driving down the Cape or playing a par three course
Blue Rock in Dennisport is a "really nice par three 18 hole course. I
play it every year...I really enjoy it and its challenging and not
crowded. The greens fee are $18 weekend rate...all yu can play. I
played 27 holes last month. The course is in excellent condition.

Thanks for your help fellas. Played 36 at Green Meadow. You can't go
wrong 16 bucks for 36 holes. The people treat you great and the course
is in excellent condition and have nice holes. Greens were a bit on the
slow side but very receptive. The course has a south and north side.
Some holes are narrow and wooded and others are pretty open. All in all
I really enjoyed the day. 6800 yds from the Blues so you can play all
    your clubs.
