If you see a coupon for Sky Meadow in the Lowell Sun ... please post
it here. I understand that there are coupons in that paper, but we
don't buy it on a regular basis.

1283.1Haven't seen coupons this yearCHRLIE::HUSTONTue Jun 18 1991 15:307

Last fall the Nashua Telegraph had coupons for $10 off. This year all
that has been in there has been an add for Sky Meadow, not a coupon.
Make sure it's a coupon before you try and use it :-)

I just read on yesterdays Union Leader that Sky Meadows is now bank
owned, and looking for a buyer. I doubt you'll see any coupons.

    Not again!

What is the story with this place. Ever since this project began it
has seen nothing but trouble. Talk about a place being cursed! This
must be about the fifth or sixth time it's had money problems and/or
    changed owners.

I played there a couple years ago when they only had ~12 holes
completed. Needless to say it was in great shape. Of the holes they
had open at the time, I realy enjoyed the course. They were fair and
not too bizarre like some other places. Anyone played it recently?
Have they been open to the public?

I played it a few weeks ago and loved it. Good shape, and there wasn't
much traffic. You have to think a bit, and there's some "Local
knowledge" holes (Like # 1), but it's definitely worth a trip.

I played it Monday night. Showed up at 4:30 and was hoping to get on without a
prior tee time. Had to take a cart and they charged me 39$. I blinked but decided
to do it given the old adage that you can't take the money with you when you die.

The course was in great shape. What a pleasure to play on true greens which are
respected by the players. Anyway there was noone to go out with. I got in my cart
played each hole trying to concentrate on a smooth swing and got around the course
from the blues shooting an 81. Got a couple of birds and a triple and enjoyed
the course layout as it is demanding regarding tee shot accuracy.

I was able to play all eighteen holes by myself without having to wait on any
tee! Can you imagine that?
