I am sure there are many Europeans which have been playing
in Ireland. However I encourage myself to have your opinion
about Irish golfcourses.I am going to have a week holiday
in Ireland with my clubs 21 - 28 september 1990 and my
trip will be from Dublin around Ireland.Any one proposals
are appreciated about courses and lodgings.

I played all the major Irish courses in the North and South in '85
(although there are so many good 'uns I know we missed some that aren't
as well known). Send me a VMS mail or give me a call at 223-2440 and
I'll fill you in. IMO, you DO NOT (!!) want to miss Royal County Down.

I work in the UK. Can anyone over here supply the same information, or
the address of the Irish Tourist Board for holiday packages?

The address for the Tourist Board for Southern Ireland is:

    	Irish Tourist Board
    	14 Upr. O'Connell St.
    	Dublin 1
    	Ireland
    	Tel:	01747733 (from U.K. 0001747733)

The only address for Northern Ireland I have is for the the office
    	here in Dublin:

    	Northern Ireland Tourist Board
    	16 Nasseau St.
    	Dublin 2
    	Ireland.
    	Tel: 016791977

The courses here are excellent all over and outside the cities and
surrounds are usally quite except Saturday and Sunday mornings
(competitions). It is advisable to ring first to check.
