1042.0. "Slices (in hand)" by BSS::POND () Tue Jul 31 1990 18:10

    Has anyone had injury/cut on finger from golf?

    My right middle finger (the international finger 8*] ) is getting
    cut every round from my other finger (to the right of it).

    The cut heals til I come out.

    I have tryied bandaids...arkward..
    Cutting finger nail...same result.
    Wear golf glove on right hand...best result yet..but lose
    touch.

    Have not tried...cutting finger off or quiting golf  \*}

    N E advice welcome

    If your middle finger is being cut by the index finger on your right
    hand, it sounds to me that your grip is wrong. Might be time to see
    a teaching pro.

    I agree with .3! I'm looking at my right hand, imagining how you can
    cut the third, and I don't see it. I do have a problem with the
    fingernail on my right hand cutting the middle finger of the left (no
    glove), but I handle that be keeping the guilty nail closely trimmed.

    My guess is you have way too flat a swing such that centrifigal force
    is acting on your hands and not the club head. You really should see a
    pro if you want it diagnosed correctly and solved properly.
