| Well, I've heard about all of them but I can only explain a couple
of them with words. I need to really visually demonstrate to get
the full effect.
>Hit that one fat...
Also known as hitting behind the ball. Usually accompanied by large
divot and ball goes about 20 yards (divot almost flies farther).
Many causes for this one.
>Hit that one thin...
Normally happens when you hit close to the top of the ball (you
almost never hit the grass). If you hit it too thin, the ball looks
like a ground ball to the shortstop.
>Came across that one...
Usually said when you slice a ball badly. The slice is created by
the side spin on the ball that is imparted when you "come across
the ball". An outside to inside swing path is usually the the cause.
>Didn't turn the hands over that one...
When a proper swing is made, your right hand rolls over your left
hand. This expression applies to when you do not roll your right
hand over your left hand during impact.
>Chilli dipped that one...
Too familiar for me. Happens when you dip your right shoulder down
and you hit the ball somewhat fat. The ball goes to the right of
the target and not as far as you would like. If you chilli dip a
full wedge, it goes about only 2/3 the distance you hoped.
Sorry I couldn't help you with the others...

Well, here goes:
>>Came over the top on that one...
The lower body stayed put while the upper body moved
wayyyyyy forward. Result is a shot about 2 feet off
the ground that only a quick shortstop could handle.
>>To much wrist on that one...
The hands were not pronated enough. On the takeaway
the swingee breaks the wrists toooo early on the back-
swing and too early again on the follow thru which
results in a shot "so high it's gonna bring rain!!!".
>>Got out in front of that one...
The rest of the body moves faster than the hands which
results in a shot so deep in the woods on the right
(left side for lefties) "they ain't neva gonna find
dat one".
>>Need to stay with it a little longer...
Swingee allows the club and body to complete the swing
too soon. Basically, you just need to concentrate a
little harder and let the natural force of the club
bring the body up.
>>Fell off that one...
The centrifugal force of the golf swing forces the
swingee's body to fall back because of a poor stance,
improper balance, incorrect weight shift, etc, etc,.
