    I think we fixed this earlier this year. You need to get a new
    version of io_routines.exe. That will fix the timeout problem.
    However, if .0 is indicating that you're falling into console mode --
    that's another, different problem.

There are 3 images altogether

	The images are built to run only on OpenVMS Alpha V6.2 with the
ALPCLUSIO01_062 kit installed. The saveset is not an installation kit.
You must copy the images to the appropriate directories and then reboot.
The README.TXT file contains instructions on this.

	The images include the IO_ROUTINES.EXE that Susan Lewis mentioned
in note 1197 in the TURBOLASER notes conference. The "MON" version is
also included (IO_ROUTINES_MON.EXE). Finally, there is the SYS$OPDRIVER.EXE
that includes all the fixes required to correct this problem. The version
you currently have (in kit ALPOPDR02_062) has only one of the three required
fixes.

	The images are to be considered "field-test quality".
