569.5Problem with Central Data kit on KFTIAUSPS::FPRUSSFrank Pruss, 202-232-7347Wed Mar 12 1997 12:0514
    We ended up proposing the Central Data "SCSI" terminal server component
    which has worked fine on the other bids for DIGITAL UNIX.

    We have run into serious problems using it on the SCIS ports on the
    KFTIA. Further, their driver has a bug which limits the device to
    being attached to SCSI buses 0-3, so we can't get OFF the KFTIA.

    We are working with Central Data to get a driver update so we can use
    a PCI host adapter.

    I hear we have updates to the KFTIA firmware to fix a number of SCSI
    problems. Any further info on this?
