2619.1Wasn't it a repackage of the DX7 in a coffin?VIA::CARROLLWed Apr 24 1991 20:528
    Wasnt this a coffin size keyboard with a bigger brother called the
    DP3000 using Yamaha's FM technology that they sold about 6 of? I might
    not remember correctly, but I think that they were trying to get
    into the school systems (and didnt), but its main selling point
    was it was able to read DX-7 sounds (Because it was a DX-7 in a Korg
    coffin!) Don't hold me to this, but thats what me brain thinks between
    the cobwebs!

    Thanks for the reply,

    	Well, I went and looked at it, it is a big coffin-like unit, with a
    pretty good piano action, but a terrible piano sound... the low end
    Casio/Roland stuff I've seen is much much better at imitating an
    acoustic piano. Anyway, the guy wants $850/bo, and he refused my offer
    of $500. In retrospect I'm glad he did.
