2363.0. "Hollidays in the U.S. HELP!" by UTROP1::VDBOS () Fri Jun 08 1990 08:27

    Hi,

As I stated somewhere else in this notesfile I will visit the U.S.
in September this year. Since I'll visit Boston as well it would
be nice to pay a visit to the Mill. And I am sure that a lot of
you COMMUSIC noters are working at the Mill.

Who can help me to arrange such a visit to the H.Q.?

    Responses are very appreciated!

    Thanks!

    Pete

Official *tours* of the mill are available, including passage into
otherwise locked areas, such as the clock tower.

Remember, this entire continent has only about 300 years of modern
history, so being 100 years old, the Mill is considered somewhat
fascinating. We don't have any 600 year old buildings here, such as
are so common in Europe.

Ask about it in SPIDER::MAYNARD conference. I'm in building 3 at pole
16C. Feel free to drop in when you are here. There are a few things I
can show about the Mill, even without keys to the clocktower.

    1990-1490 = 500 years.

If you lived in California you'd be comfortable with Spanish missions
much older than anything in New England.

    Jeffrey,

Thanks for your response! I wrote a note already in the MAYNARD
notes file. When I am at the mill I'll call you and pay you a visit.
