Is the book printed in english or idiotic?
889.2Incredible stuff...POLAR::ROBINSONPLiv'er on the edgeWed Jan 25 1995 12:426

In English, but do not read this if you have any shred of belief
left in politicians, and this will explain why the Conservative
Party is where it is today.

Politicians are aliens from the planet Greedy and they came to Earth
to prove that the human race is inferior to them.

I'd had no time to read the book yet, but read a review of it by
Allan Fortheringham in McClean's magazine. He seemed to feel the
author was somewhat biased against the Tories but the evidence from
RCMP sting operations, big money contract getting dished left & right
& the sheer patronage of it all was too overwelming to ignore as
        fiction.

Even without reading the book we all know that Brian & friends had
a great time while in office.

I'm sure he was'nt the worst prime minister in our history
certainly not the best, but definitely the phoniest to have
        adorned the term Right Honorable.

                                                     Regards J.P. Ranger

One of the most interesting passages in the book refers to the
COSICS boondoggle, of which DIGITAL was peripherally involved.
Basically, the secure embassy computer/communications system
that was awarded to Lavalin, a company that had no previous system
integration experience. A $50 million contract that was overspent
by 200 million and still does not do what it was intended to do.

Somehow I think the book does not even scratch the surface on
this one, although I would have like to read more in depth about
    it.
