854.0. "Suites hotel in Montreal?" by AKOCOA::PADOVANO () Mon Aug 15 1994 13:35

    Can someone advise me whether there is an Embassy Suites or
    Mariott Courtyard hotel in, or close to Montreal?

    I am looking for accomodations for a family. I've read the notes
    that reference hotels, though most are over a year old.

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    There are no Marriott Courtyards anywhere in Canada, don't think there
    are any Embassy Suites.

There is an inexpensive Hotel called "Le Riche Bourg" which is centrally
located right near the Montreal Forum. The suites were adequate and the price
was definitely right at approximately $70.00 a night. I can't remember what
the street name is but it's one block north of de Maisonneuve between Atwater
and Lambert Closse. Maybe someone in Montreal can look up the number for you.

    Thanks to those who replied. From this note, and other sources, I
    have several good places to try for our annual family trip to wonderful
    Montreal.
854.9Chateau Royal/Comfort Suites Info PleaseNEMAIL::GREENBERGFri May 17 1996 17:3514
    Can anyone give me an assessment of an all-suites hotel called Chateau
    Royal on Rue Crescent in Montreal? I can't find it reviewed in any
    guide books, but it appears to be well-located and has the features we
    are looking for (modest kitchen, reasonable price, balcony, downtown
    location).

    Another option we are considering is called the Comfort Suites. Any
    opinions on this place?

    Many thanks for the help. My wife and I are looking forward to our
    visit to Montreal this summer.
